Lose 5 Pounds This Week-3 Easy Tips!
There’s great feeling of dropping a fast 5 pounds to kickstart your weight loss goals. It’s not enough to make a full size difference typically, but it is a great way to get things off to a running start. Lose 5 pounds this week–safely of course, but try it, and see your life change!
The methods we’re going to talk here though should be used together for the maximum weight loss.
Bear in mind that most people already living healthfully will not lose quite that amount in one week, but will still get some results.
Ideally, you should try to lose between one and two pounds a week. By following these three tips to get started though, you will likely lose more.
Please remember that it’s not a substitute for a healthy lifestyle, though.
But if you want to lose 5 pounds this week, then read on.
Yes, that’s right. Processed sugar, refined sugar, table sugar, sugar substitutes, and even most fruit. You can enjoy some berries on occasion, but don’t eat them on a regular basis. Ideally though, after the week is over, you should eliminate all sugars for four weeks. Get your fiber and vitamins from vegetables.
It might take a bit to overcome the sugar withdraw symptoms, but cutting out sugar does several things. The first thing that it does is eliminate a large number of calories you’re probably already consuming. Most of the time, people get sugar from empty sources such as cookies, cakes, doughnuts, and the like.
The second thing that it does is that it allows your body to start using up its glucose stores. Whenever you eat sugar, it turns straight to glucose. Your body uses this to replenish itself, and then the rest is made into fat. If it doesn’t have glucose, it uses fat.
The third thing this does is to help your body to start healing. Regular sugar consumption increases inflammation in your joints and your body, creating pain, lethargy, and more.
According to “The Relationship Between Sugar and Inflammation,” even consuming as little as two teaspoons of sugar can result in inflammation and pain. In addition, sugar consumption causes severe hormone disruption in our bodies.
By cutting this out, you will not only be saving your body extensive pain, but you will also witness sharp weight loss within the upcoming week and beyond.
Add Fat Burning Spices to Your Meals and Cut Back on Salt
Salt is one of the most common seasonings for added flavor. However, too much sodium can lead to water retention, bloating, and even constipation. Yet when you’re cutting out sugar, it can be hard to give up salt as well. Fortunately, you don’t have to give it all up.
Just give up as much as you can while substituting with fat burning spices to keep your food flavorful.
You can use any spices that are low in calories. However, for fat burning punch, season your food with mustard, turmeric, garlic, cardamom, cayenne, pepper, ginger, cumin, and others like them.
Basil and oregano are also great seasonings as are rosemary, thyme, and sage, but they do not have the fat burning properties of the other spices and seasonings. You won’t decrease your results by using them though.
Increase Your Fiber
Even if you’re eating five to seven servings of fibrous vegetables a day, chances are fairly good that you could still use a little more fiber. Fiber helps your body eliminate the toxins and waste products within your bowels. Flushing out the waste makes you lighter as well.
You can increase your fiber intake through naturally fibrous vegetables. However, when you’re trying to kickstart your weight loss, you may want to add some Metamucil in.
Another option, if you plan on spending the day at home, is to take an herbal laxative to help cleanse your system. You should not take this on a regular basis, and if you experience anything more than minimal discomfort, you need to consult with a doctor.
However, cleansing your system is an excellent way to help improve your weight loss goals and also make you healthier.
Keep It Going
After you reach that 5 pound weight loss goal, you have to keep going. The way that you will continue to lose weight and improve upon your success is through consuming healthy foods and remaining active.
If you don’t know where to start, you can find excellent guides to guide you along the way. The important thing though is to make sure that you do keep going. Use the initial weight loss to spur you on toward a stronger and healthier you.
