    This podcast was really good, as they all are, actually. It occurred to me while I was listening that I couldn’t lose weight before I retired because of the stress at work. After I retired, I lost 25 pounds in two years. Of course, I started making healthier food choices, too, and cut way back on bread, potatoes and pasta, but now I think getting to a happier state of mind also had a lot to do with getting the weight off and (so far) keeping it off. I know I could be way off base, but I tried and tried for years and had given up on ever getting back to the size I am now, so I’m giving partial credit to happiness hormones, if there is such a thing. Thank you for another very helpful podcast!

      You’re welcome, Kathy. And once again, sorry about the sound issues. Yes, I have a strong suspicion that your weight-loss success was partially due to the ‘happiness hormones’ you referenced, too. BTW, please be on the lookout for a Podcast I’m scheduled to do on Thursday, November 21st, which will go in a lot of detail about more practical ways to regulate hormones for weight loss.
