    I appreciate Abel’s meal suggestions! I will have to change my thinking on game meats, though. I’ve never been able to make myself eat anything like that but I see they’re probably healthier after listening to this. Also, he mentioned “green” smoothies as opposed to protein smoothies. Are green smoothies made from vegetables?

      Glad you found it useful, Kathy! Yes, green smoothies are made from vegetables. Frequently used are things like kale, avacaodo (a fruit, technically), cilantro, wheat grass, spinach, and more. In addition, there are some ‘mixed green’ blends that healthfood stores sell, too. Although I think those mixed blends can be good, I like to first encourage people to focus on the basics of eating real food. Hope this helps :)
